About the Event
Restore and nourish the subtle tissues of your body with a quiet, passive, and challenging practice of Yin Yoga and Meditation. Together we will flow through a practice that allows you to dive deeply into your body and mind with guidance, self-compassion, and each breath.
Yin yoga is the opposite of our yang practices. It allows us to find balance in stillness. Each posture is held for about 3-5 minutes, which allows our deeper tissues to lengthen and release stress, and our energy channels to open within the body. With the awareness and patience we learn to practice in this workshop, you can incorporate yin principles to your every day life. A space you can carry with you to gift yourself compassion.
Our practice together will end with a complimentary guided meditation, exploring ancient concentration and pranayama techniques. Take a moment just for you to discover at a reflective pace, a time to go inward and process the challenges. Open and encouraged to students of all levels.
